In this 4 month program, students train with experienced professionals in a variety of performance skills appropriate to the Renaissance era, learning Shakespearean scenes and monologues while also exploring Elizabethan language, behavior, history, culture and songs. FYC members expand their skills in acting/scene study, movement, improvisation and stage combat by performing in full period costume for our audiences on the grounds of historic Agecroft Hall during the Richmond Shakespeare Festival in June and July.

This opportunity is available to any high-school aged public, private, or home-schooled student. Members can choose from 32 performance opportunities every Thursday through Sunday evenings throughout the summer months.

Tuition is $350. Some scholarships are available.
